Keep a class on the same page

Use a visible page number to help a class follow printed books and worksheets.

Put the display where pupils can read it from their seats. Show the page number for the book or worksheet you are actually using, and name the material aloud. A number alone cannot tell a class which of several books to open.

Use one device to control the number and a separate device for the display. With SendNumber, connected devices share the current number. The app displays numbers; it does not upload your textbook or project the contents of a PDF.

Change the number when the group is ready. For younger pupils, say the new page aloud as well and allow time to find it. Avoid relying on a sound cue alone, as some pupils may not hear it clearly.

Test the internet connection and legibility before the lesson. Keep a simple fallback such as a number on the board. Shared visual orientation can reduce repeated questions, but pupils still need clear instructions and time to read.
